READ THROUGH ALL OF THIS POST. YOU WILL LEARN A LOT.

hi all. yes. its me again. i love reading through blogs. totally. ok so cause we have a scbt blog right, then someone form the sec3s posted a post trash-talking us sec 1s in June. ok it is not exactly trash-talking cause that would mean that it was all false. but no, it was true. OK its true that i as a captain, did not tell the others to do what they were supposed to do, simply because of a stupid reason--- i was scared, scared that they would find me weird and OVER CONTROLLING. and so on. but it is true that some of them did not train how they were supposed to. they were lazy, ungrateful. but i have a part to play too, i did not teach them. i had to wait for the seniors to do it for me in a totally emotional team talk. but that (i think) did the trick. we as a team are slowly improving, in terms of relationships, attitude and character oh and of course skill. but we have a LONG way to go and not that much time. I hope that the others including myself will strive harder. SCBT is an awesome place for us to nurture ourselves as people. Badminton is not merely a sport. NO SPORT IS MERELY A SPORT. if it was, then , then we would not be continuing on this journey. cause if it was MERELY a sport, then there would not be this love for it that i know that everyone has , somewhere inside.

i sincerely hope that we will train harder, push each other on, be closely bonded(so that these will be out bestest friends), inculcate in ourselves through a self learning process, the values that should be inside of us: diligence, perseverance, leadership, RESPECT, and so many more. this may totally seem like a stupid model reflective essay that one reads in an advertising pamphlet but NO. this is true heartfelt feelings from the "sitting on the fence girl". Next year, the road to champs are going to be difficult(lots of sweat, lots of pain but lots and lots of satisfaction), but you know, that is what friends are for: to stay by your side when you cry, to lend a soft shoulder, to push you higher. Everyone expects a GOLD or SILVER or BRONZE from us, but at the end of the day, none of these counts, all that does would be the lessons learnt, the friendships made, the one final person you become. the medals are simply the icing on top of the cake. (is that the metaphor?? haha). LOVE YOU SCBT. NO DOUBT. SCBT FTW(in ALL ways possible).

MAN do i have a lot of things to write about. i have learnt SO many things today. SO SO MANY. i watched a show called "Beautiful Girl". its about a fat girl being beautiful. in it there was this song, lyrics goes:

when i believe i'm beautiful,
then you'll believe i'm beautiful,
i am here to tell all the world,
that i'm a beautiful girl.

sure enough, go ask anyone ANYONE on the street:'what is a beautiful girl?' they would say:'Angelina Jolie, Heidi Klum'
i am not saying they are not beautiful. they are. they damn right are. but why do we need 'MODELS' in our life that we have to follow?? OH MY GOSH. i just thought of something!!!!!!!!!! ok 'models' as in the pretty ones who strut down a runway. why name them 'Models'?? ever wondered??? like why give them the name 'models'? because we have to want to be like them?

why must we follow those 'models'? are they what we define as BEAUTIFUL? no. i 100000000000000000000% dont think so. NO WAY. as they lyrics state it. as long as you believe you are beautiful, it does not matter whether you have the body of Heidi Klum or face of Tyra Banks or even an old "ugly" lady. you will be beautiful as long as you believe it, others will.

from today onwards, i SHALL NEVER EVER say : oh so and so is so UGLY. no way. cause yes. everyone deserves the respect, the title: BEAUTIFUL.

i think i just matured a lot today. YAY ME.
