MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
HEY everyone! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!!!! hahhaha i totally LOVE this season! its just so HAPPY.... HAHHA its true ok?? i love the tree decorating, the buying of gifts, writing of cards, singing of carols.... AHHHH SO AWESOME. now, in this very NICE season, i finallyFINALLY is in the mood of telling you about my not-so-recent holiday to Korea! and there are OBVIOUSLY photos!
but i have to split the days. too long la! hahah
ok
DAY ONE AND TWO OK so we start off with the plane ride! haha i guessyou can say it was ok... at least i did not barff... which i usually do, especially on planes... HAHHAHA dont laugh. hehe we left at 11 pm and reached at 6am local time! hehe we rushed off to take a bus that was 50min long, to the hotel- JW Marriott Seoul! hehe
ok... DONT ASK. if you look closely at the above picture, you will see two figures on the building. we were NOT taking the building but the people .... HAHAHA they were cleaning the windows! SO LAME right? this was outside our hotel...
after that, we went to visit the Namsan Traditional Houses! hahah it was quite funny! this was a pic we took while waiting for the FREE english tour. see that its FREE... there was an old guy who was very very nice. BUT. BUT. he was AWFULLY slow. AHHAHAAH i know i am mean, but its true. its like everything he wants to say is all stuck up there but he just has problems expressing it... HHAAH so sorry but its true. and i have heard enough of 'TRA------diiiiiiiiiiiii--son- NAAAAAL' houses. that is exactly how he said it. mans. well, but he was VERY nice though.... hehe
ok then we continued on with that slow tour and my sis and i dressed up in traditional dresses and took pics! this is just one of the many pictures. HAHA it was quite fun although i have to say, i looked awful.
At the end of the COLD COLD day, we finally could go to our hotel rooms. and my sis so HAPPENED to have been taking pictures when i was RESTING. gosh. so mean right?? but the room was SO AWESOME. damn cook. HAHHAHA
NEXT DAY: NO. 2
FIrst thing in the morining, we went the watch the Korean changing of guards! it was quite cool althought i do prefer the western kind(:
Next was a palace! well, the changing of guards was outside this palace! hahah it was a nice cold day... and i realise that when i get cold, nothing else is cold except my hands. which is kind of weird. HAHA thats why in most of the pictures, my hands were in my pockects. HAHAH thats mostly why i could just wear a woolen shirt and a vest, like in the above pic, at like 4 degrees celcius! haha
this was also in the palace and i was practicing my photography skills. hahah. that was my sis nad mum drinking coffee. haaha looks kind of cool right? except that a bird just walked past so my sis looks like she was talking to it. hhahah
during this holiday, there were a lot of things with my name on it. AND THIS TRUCK WAS ONE OF THEM. hahha its just so awesome. hahaha we were waiting for a bus when across the road i see my awesome name. hHHAHHAHA
All the above photos were taken at Myeongdong, a famous shopping area with much fashion at low prices. the food was GREAT too! haahahaa
Then came night, we just randomly walked into a shop for dinner and this happened!!! so AWESOME FOOD. but the soup was kimchi soup was it was REALLY REALLY HOT.
ok thats about it for today, MERRY CHRISTMAS Y'ALL!

The good Old Days
hey guys, yes i know i am random with the random fisherman. but its SUPPOSED to represent the GOOD OLD DAYS. sigh, i miss the days when i was in Charis, with my good friends that i felt comfortable with. i miss the homeworking in the basement. i miss eating currypuffs and comparing clothing. i miss making fun of the boys while the teacher was talking. i miss getting sweets after class.
i miss... my FRIENDS.
now its not the same. well far from it.
as they move on together, forging closer bonds, there i am- the one left behind.
I MISS ALL OF IT. but those were the days, now all a foreign memory.

bad day .vs. fairytales
poor thing dont you think? sigh. haha i dont think i am THAT bad. haha. but still.
lets see:
1. i think i slightly pulled my right leg hamstring (obviously due to training)
2. got loads LOADS of work to do
3. have to wake up early tmr for meetings after meetings.
4. i am HORRIBLY BORED
5. i didnt get to see who i wanted to see today (well i think that is the BIGGEST part)
yes, i know, it does not make much of a list but ohwell. the last point was, by a MILE, the one that made me count today as a bad one. DONT ASK WHO. you will laugh your socks off. haha. but the rest of the day was PRETTY AWESOME. haha my mum spoke at church today and guess what i learnt? : God's answer to his promises are ALWAYS YES and AMEN. and it is worth waiting for God cause one day, what he says will happen, will.
sigh, i feel like an ULTIMATE loser. just cause i didnt see uknowho(haha dont guess) today, i was seriously down in the dumps. i am a pathetic loser arent i?
but you know, everytime you feel down, there is always someone there to cheer to up: GOD. well, today there were other people too HAHA. they just make me laugh. HAHAH awesome man.
you know something. i was watching the PRINCESS AND THE FROG two days ago. (it is SO SO SO AWESOME. CATCH IT.) and it got me thinking... why oh why did people create fairlytales? i dont think they just wrote it cause they just SO happened to imagine FAIRIES and PRINCESSESS etc etc. RIGHT? there is sure to be a reason.
no wonder they created fantasy, cause people hate reality.
come on, now, it makes sense ok? link it up people. why did you enjoy Cinderella when you were young? maybe you wanted some imaginary creature there to grant your every wish and your life to always end as HAPPILY EVER AFTER. why did you enjoy Sleeping Beauty? maybe you always wished for a prince to kiss you so that you MAGICALLY wake up from 'deep sleep'. huh? i mean, have you ever EVER seen a fairytale or fantasy story that had not had the words 'HAPPILY EVER AFTER' at the end of the story? no. i dont know about you but i certainly havent! who knows? maybe the writer of Cinderella was in the same plight: a girl who was suffering at home, who always wanted a husband, etc... and so imagined to herself an AMAZING STORY which soon turned out to be one of the greatest Disney fairytales of the WORLD? cool eh.
actually i enjoy watching fairytales cause i wish it could be that easy but it isnt. but at least we have God in our lives to help and lead us:) troubles are part and parcel of life, through it we grow. (:

happiness in defeat
hi guys! i am so awfully sorry that i havent updated for the past few days... i guess i was lazy. haha. i know i am a little slow but i have never realised that my blog posts have no titles... HAHA. so the one in bold at the top is my title!!! ok??? haha. yes. i wanna talk about happiness today! haha ALOT of things have been happening to me over the past few weeks- good and bad. i realised that what the most important thing is to be happy. life is too short for moaning, groaning and complaining. its true... why make life so difficult and sad just over a few mishaps or arguments??? i THANK God for putting all these difficulties, problems and trials in my life. Cause i have learnt that WITH GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. so... why be so sad and stressed when you can just be HAPPY and THANKFUL?? you know... scientists have proven that it takes MUCH MORE energy to frown than SMILE:D.
HAHA see... EVEN THAT PIG can smile... why cant you??? today i had my competition with an Singapore Badminton Association player and she was.... GOOD. very GOOD. well, she had her flaws and i had mine. I realise today how everything ... well ALMOST EVERYTHING, had to do with the MIND. when i saw her name xxx on the draw... i did not know that she was a SBA player, in fact i thought she wasnt a threat at all. However, when i told my friends, their IMMEADIATE response was, "OH..." literally. well, once that got into my mind, i instantly was like SHIT. SHIT. oh well. then it came to the game, i was VERY nervous. guess what the score for the 1st set was : 5-21. YES. 5!!!!! like WHAT????!!!! right? well. then 2nd set: 21-18. I WON!!!!! see the diff. this is what helped me win:
my captain, Siewyun, said, "FORGET about that 'SINGAPORE' mark on her shirt. i can also place one for you on your shirt." haha yes, it might seem funny but trust me. it helped. just OH SO MUCH. i guess what i realised was that SO WHAT if she was a Singapore player? SO WHAT?! what does it matter? like i said... ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD. as long as i believed in myself and forgot about the fact that she was a Singapore player, i did it. i won her. i did. haha. so then there was the rubber, or third set. i lost. but ITS OK. I AM STILL AS HAPPY AS EVER. cause i know that i did my best and i learnt a lesson, a very important one. it is VERY important to believe in yourself, to believe in God.
'DARE TO WIN' - a quote from my coach: Mr Wong.
nothing is impossible.

THIS WEEK'S SCHEDULE:monday: TRAINING! COMPETITION. OLE MEETING. PREFECTS BONDING. BADMINTON.tuesday: TRAINING! COMPETITION. wednesday: TRAINING! COMPETITION.thursday: TRAINING! COMPETITION.HAHA so i have an excuse for not writing for so SO long. Literally, this whole week revolved around maybe 2 things. BADMINTON & ENHing FRIENDS, aka, Shawna, Gayle, Chelsea, Charita. GOSH. we rock man. ENH is a word they somehow made up and influenced all of us. haha. Actually, i quite enjoyed this week. it is AWESOMELY fun being around SCBT. we rock like shit. HAHa. every day after training, we go out to eat lunch at various places, laugh, talk, well just be PLAINLY STUPID. i love how you can just be yourself around real friends. like ok truthfully, i have ever taken pics of myself while i was bored and they were in my phone... HAHA so shawna wanted to see my phone picss then i went to delete them (see me saving my 'image' here?haha) but i forgot one. THAT ONE caused me LOADS of humiliation. so anyway they were like damn suprised and kept on harping on the fact that i dont seem like the camwhoring kind of person- which i am NOT. haha so well... i guess that changed their impression of me but OH WELL. theyu would find out sooner or later... i really want to say they forgot about it, but NO. they did not. ANYWAY, i am never doing that EVER AGAIN. SO DAMN EMBARASSING. ENH. HAHAtoday was the 4th round of CHEERS doubles competition and well... all the SCBT teams were kicked out. HAHAHA i had a great laugh. but hey its TOP 16 KAY???? aahahaha SO AWESOMElove ya!sitting on the fence girl <3
ALL I WANNA DO IS BE WITH YOU, ONLY YOU haha:)so sorry i am watching High School Musical 3~!!!! hahah i simply LOVE THAT SONG:) its damn sweet. go youtube! hahahha :)i used to be A TOTAL HSM FAN. hahahha i dunno if i still am one. :) but i have to say, it totally ROCKS. hahahha hmm... today i went back to training(my legs hurt like crazy. ARGH) anyway, i am not as rusty as i thought i would be HAHA. ok i am going to talk about KOREA. hahah not very much what i would do cause i realise i really DO have STM loss. HAHA. yes. i am going to talk about the people there. you know how they generalise Singaporeans as rude, kiah-su, people with bad english and well just ultimately people with no manners? then you have the French people, who are generalised as rude, totally impolite but people who have a great sense of fashion? ETC. ETC. actually i utterly hate that there are such stereotypes. its really mean, i mean not everybody is like that. SURE. some people meet persons that fit into those stereotypes but i mean cant people look at the BIG PICTURE??? gosh. so i for one am SO not going to generalise into the HOPEFULLY minority group of Koreans. OK when i went there, my first impression was that they did not really have good manners in terms of walking:) ok that really sounded really weird. HAHA AWESOME. anyway, they just PUSH you when walking in a crowd. seriously. HAHA apparently some lady pushed me away just so that she could look at the clothing that she wanted to buy???!!! however, it was damn comical. i thought my mum pushed me to walk so i like LITERALLY ran off HAHAHAHAHA. damn funny:) then they had like beggers who sold gum in the subway and like literally EVERYONE in the train bought it!!!!! GOSH, so they, i thought were kind:) hahahah AH YES. the subway. there was this super funny incident, we had to sit in the subway for like 10 stops so i took a pen, the bus ticket and started sketching the guy opposite me. HAHA super funny! :):) damn funny:) ok going to watch HSM 3 which SO TOTALLY ROCKS THE AWESOMEST. hahahsitting on the fence girl<3
HEY ALL! i am back from AMAZING. AWESOME. WONDERFUL. MAGICAL. GREAT. SPARKLING. KOREA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahha I LOVE IT AWESOME MAN. haha. when i get the camera back i will spam you with AWESOME photos!!! haha. i dont want to narrate EVERY SINGLE thing that happened cause firstly, i cant remember (haha). Secondly, it sucks for me cause my hands will ache like shit. Thirdly, it sucks for you cause you probably just scroll down the page until you get to the end (haha. to tell you the truth, i do that to other ppl's long posts! hahha) HAHA but i am serious like how in the world do people remember what happened like BY THE SECOND. especially for trips or camps. like GOSH. well it did occur to me that people write journals but even so... I had to write reflections EVERY NIGHT for the SCBT AWESOME TRIP and i couldnt even remember what kind of exercises we did for training. GOSH. i think i have short-term memory loss. SERIOUSLY. but its kind of AWESOME. Hmmm... i think i only know how to use 'awesome' out of my whole list of adjectives that i have stored up somewhere in that mind of mine. like really. the trip was simply AWESOME.SCBT is AWESOME. AWESOME cheap trill.AWESOMEST friends in the world.an AWESOME time.My AWESOME niece.today was AWESOME.haha so AWESOME.which obviously was AWESOME.AWESOME chinese drama.how AWESOMELY cute.and the list goes AWESOMELY on. yes. i was practically cutting and pasting from my previous posts. hahahahha. yea. HAHA. Claire (niece) just woke up and started digging her nose HAHAHA. it was damn cute. btw. she is like 1 and a half so imagine chunky fingers stuffed into tiny holes and coming out with GROSS teeny weeny 'gold' HAHA. i love it when she just wakes up and is like all groggy, constanly stoning. FREAKING CUTE LA. You see, normally she is like so high, jumping on the piano(literally), running up and down with toys from my room (haha cause i dont want her to disturb me while doing work. so i send her off with random toys, saying "Give to Grandma/ Grandpa/ Aunty Anna/Mama/Papa/Aunty Jac") AHAHAH i am SO mean right? i know:) haha. anyway, now she just listens to whatever i say. And follows me around. haahah AWESOMELY CUTE. SHE IS THE AWESOMATOM. haha i notice i come up with weird words that have to do with "Awesome" ahhaha. i think i am so AWESOMELY WEIRD. :) i know i am supposed to tell you about Korea but now i am TIRED. so will do so probably another day! :)SMILE LOADS KAY??sitting on the fence girl <3
