bad day .vs. fairytales
poor thing dont you think? sigh. haha i dont think i am THAT bad. haha. but still.
lets see:
1. i think i slightly pulled my right leg hamstring (obviously due to training)
2. got loads LOADS of work to do
3. have to wake up early tmr for meetings after meetings.
4. i am HORRIBLY BORED
5. i didnt get to see who i wanted to see today (well i think that is the BIGGEST part)
yes, i know, it does not make much of a list but ohwell. the last point was, by a MILE, the one that made me count today as a bad one. DONT ASK WHO. you will laugh your socks off. haha. but the rest of the day was PRETTY AWESOME. haha my mum spoke at church today and guess what i learnt? : God's answer to his promises are ALWAYS YES and AMEN. and it is worth waiting for God cause one day, what he says will happen, will.
sigh, i feel like an ULTIMATE loser. just cause i didnt see uknowho(haha dont guess) today, i was seriously down in the dumps. i am a pathetic loser arent i?
but you know, everytime you feel down, there is always someone there to cheer to up: GOD. well, today there were other people too HAHA. they just make me laugh. HAHAH awesome man.
you know something. i was watching the PRINCESS AND THE FROG two days ago. (it is SO SO SO AWESOME. CATCH IT.) and it got me thinking... why oh why did people create fairlytales? i dont think they just wrote it cause they just SO happened to imagine FAIRIES and PRINCESSESS etc etc. RIGHT? there is sure to be a reason.
no wonder they created fantasy, cause people hate reality.
come on, now, it makes sense ok? link it up people. why did you enjoy Cinderella when you were young? maybe you wanted some imaginary creature there to grant your every wish and your life to always end as HAPPILY EVER AFTER. why did you enjoy Sleeping Beauty? maybe you always wished for a prince to kiss you so that you MAGICALLY wake up from 'deep sleep'. huh? i mean, have you ever EVER seen a fairytale or fantasy story that had not had the words 'HAPPILY EVER AFTER' at the end of the story? no. i dont know about you but i certainly havent! who knows? maybe the writer of Cinderella was in the same plight: a girl who was suffering at home, who always wanted a husband, etc... and so imagined to herself an AMAZING STORY which soon turned out to be one of the greatest Disney fairytales of the WORLD? cool eh.
actually i enjoy watching fairytales cause i wish it could be that easy but it isnt. but at least we have God in our lives to help and lead us:) troubles are part and parcel of life, through it we grow. (:
